Subject: WTM London Virtual 2020
Dear Industry Partners,
As you surely know WTM London 2020 has been cancelled. The alternative being offered is WTM Virtual which is taking place between 09 and 11 November 2020. WTM Virtual will still offer the possibility to DMOs like MTA to book their space and in turn have co-sharers join in, i.e. applying the same concept as with the regular WTM. In fact MTA will have its own virtual space, which in turn can be shared with interested Maltese tourism service providers.
I am hereby attaching a ppt provided by the organizers for your perusal. As you will notice WTM is charging €2800 including VAT to every stand sharer if MTA will have up to 20 co-exhibitors. In further support to the Maltese tourism industry MTA will be subsidizing the participation costs for the co-exhibitors joining our virtual stand. The cost of participation as a co-sharer has been set at €2000 including VAT (instead of €2800). Terms of this participation as co-exhibitor with MTA includes:
- registering up to 3 company representatives
- 10 meeting requests per company representative, total 30 *
*MTA suggests that one uses such a meeting allocation for establishing new business contacts, and ask your current clients to send through a meeting request. (Note that meeting requests 'received' will not be deducted from your meeting allocation) In this respect I invite you to go through the attached presentation and let us know if you would be interested to join MTA as co-sharer. In view of the fact that the online platform is expected to go live by eob Monday 12th October, your confirmation in writing to marketing@visitmalta.com, is required by Monday noon so that we can register your participation before the system goes live.
