Fairyland is Back!

Fairyland is Back!

Pjazza Tritoni in Valletta will be transformed into Santa’s City this Christmas from the 8th of December to 6th of January 2023!

From Rudolph’s Wheel, back by popular demand, to give you the best bird’s eye view of Valletta, to an Ice-Skating Rink for anyone looking to test their skills, or learn some new ones. In addition to the rides and attractions, you will find a Christmas Market where you can get all your stocking fillers and indulge in a variety of Festive Food and Drink options whilst doing so!

Santa Claus, together with his elves, will be in residence at Fairyland, ready to meet children from all over the world, compile his Naughty and Nice list and even get a head-start on delivering gifts. Fairyland guarantees you a magical outing for all the family.

At Santa’s City, we believe in enjoyment for everyone and so this year, we will also be setting up a World Cup Village for all of our international football supporters to come together and cheer on their favourite team whilst enjoying a beer, warm drinks and good food.

Keep your eyes peeled for the unwrapping of more details and surprises during the countdown to our favourite time of year!

“The return of Fairyland is a strong showcase of family and event tourism during the festive period. As the dark days of the pandemic slowly epp away, tourism is steadily coming back into its own environment. Therefore, it is through these innovative attractions amongst others that we are sustaining our commitment in offering a diversified tourism product all year round,” outlined Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo.

MTA CEO Carlo Micallef added that “Fairyland has become a staple in the calendar of Family events during the holiday period, and MTA is once again supporting this year’s edition which will definitely give additional value to those tourists who will be visiting the Maltese Islands as well as Maltese and residents alike enjoying this Christmas and New Year holiday period in our Islands.”

Fairyland – Santa’s City opens on the 8th of December until the 6th of January 2023. More information and tickets will be available on www.visitmalta.com
