Executive Summary
VisitMalta (Malta Tourism Authority) is issuing a Call for Individual Dancers to perform at Dubai EXPO 2020 on the 19th January 2022. This call is open to Malta-based individual dancers, of any style. The MTA is supporting this initiative as part of our commitment to promote the Maltese Islands in non-conventional ways, this time, through an artistic representation about the Maltese Islands on what can be considered as the world's current biggest platform, where over 190 countries are present. All the world is coming together, for the first time since the pandemic began, to connect, to exchange and to learn on this extraordinary global stage, and through this call, we are excited to extend this opportunity to local musicians.
Application Process
Apply today by sending an two 45-second video performances, via WeTransfer to events@visitmalta.com by not later than Thursday 28th October at 17:00hrs including also your Portfolio and CV.
Selection Process
An independent adjudication panel will review all the applications received and all applicants will be informed accordingly. The MTA will cover costs relating to flights, accommodation and ground transfers. The selection will be determined according to the Artistic Direction of the piece.
