Legal Notice 295 of 2007, which aims to mitigate the nuisance caused by demolition and excavation works at construction sites, establishes that no demolition and excavation works are permitted within tourism areas during the three months of summer i.e. between the 15th June and 30th September. As the competent authority responsible for identifying the localities and streets where such works cannot be carried out, the Malta Tourism Authority is hereby informing stakeholders and the general public that the streets listed below, as submitted by Local Councils, shall be added for summer 2020 together with the ones already listed for summer 2019.
