Introduction

This web portal is maintained and administered by the Malta Tourism Authority. This policy (together with our Terms of Use) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.

Your privacy is very important to us. We are committed to ensuring that when you use our service, you know what personal data we collect about you and how we use it. We want this data policy to be as clear, simple and fully transparent as possible.

In processing your personal data we will comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the Data Protection Act — Chapter 586 of the Laws of Malta (and any regulations made thereunder), and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (as amended), as well as any other data protection laws that apply from time to time.

References to "we", "us" or "our" mean the Malta Tourism Authority, with its registered office at Building SCM 01, Suites 301–306, SmartCity Malta, Ricasoli SCM 1001, Kalkara, Malta. The Malta Tourism Authority is the data controller of your personal data under the Data Protection Laws.

Information we collect

We may collect and process data including: emails you send to or receive from us; our online conversations with you; your use of social media to follow us; and information you provide when you create an account, subscribe to our newsletters or mailing lists, subscribe to a waiting list for an event, or contact our customer service team — such as your name, email address, postal and billing address, and phone number.
