Your right of access to information held by the Malta Tourism Authority.

Your right to information

As a Maltese public authority, the Malta Tourism Authority is subject to the Freedom of Information Act — Chapter 496 of the Laws of Malta. The Act gives every person resident in Malta (and certain others) a general right to request documents held by public authorities, subject to the exemptions set out in the Act.

Making a request

A Freedom of Information request should describe the information sought clearly enough for it to be identified. Requests, and any questions about the process, can be submitted to the Authority via our Contact Us page.

What to expect

The Authority will acknowledge your request and respond within the timeframes established by the Act. Where information cannot be released, you will be informed of the reason and of your right to seek a review.
