The Ministry for Tourism and Consumer Protection and the Malta Tourism Authority invite you to apply for any of the hundreds of courses being made available to you for free. The various courses are being offered via on-line platforms.

Take your time to visit the websites listed below and browse through these courses to see what suits you best, before you apply.

It is important to take note of the essential points below:

• Before you apply have a scan or photo of your ID card ready
• Have a letter/declaration of employment from your employer stating your current job title
• For student applicants: to provide evidence as full-time students with a local or foreign training institution following a tourism-related course. This does not apply ONLY in the case of school-leavers (Form 5) and Sixth Form students. In the case of these students, evidence that they are full-time students from the School Registrar is required
• Unemployed applicants are requested to provide their ETC social security registration and a recently dated copy of their employment from JobsPlus which shows past employment in the tourism sector
• For accredited/higher level courses make sure you have scans of your qualifications (in case they are requested)
• You may apply for a maximum of 3 short courses OR 1 accredited course
• The courses are free, but certain Terms & Conditions do apply according to the service provider selected
• For any questions in relation to a specific course, contact the training institution directly
• Applicants are to register their interest by latest Saturday, 16^th of May at 5pm

Candidates will be selected on a first come first served basis. The MTCP and the MTA reserve the right to refuse any applications if the allocated budget is exceeded.
