The Malta Tourism Authority STAR Awards

The STAR Awards are an important initiative through which the Malta Tourism Authority is able to give Special Thanks And Recognition to tourism employees who are passionate about providing quality service to our visitors.

The STAR Awards were introduced as a pilot project in 2005. Since then the scheme has grown significantly in popularity, with thousands of tourists participating and hundreds of tourism employees being nominated each year.

STAR Service Awards

These awards are all about acknowledging and rewarding the hard work, dedication and excellent hospitality demonstrated by workers in contact with tourists.

Hotel Worker of the Year

This staff-driven award aims to reward exemplary workers in the hospitality industry who excel both in their performance and their general attitude towards work and colleagues.
