Quality Assured seal for tourism operators

Through its Quality Assured schemes, the Malta Tourism Authority is seeking to recognise tourism operators and establishments that offer a quality service to our visitors. In this way, the MTA aims to

assist quality tourism service providers gain a competitive edge, while also assisting tourists and clients to make a more informed choice. The schemes also aim to encourage a quality leap in the targeted sectors through the creation of benchmarks.

Participation in any of the Quality Assured schemes is completely voluntary. Quality Assured status is currently available to two categories of tourism operators, namely Destination Management Companies and Visitor Attractions. Quality Assured operators are recognised through the MTA’s registered quality logo.

The MTA also endorses a recommended label for restaurants which is managed by the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association (MHRA).
