STAR Product Awards

During the last years the MTA has awarded a number of different tourism products ranging from the ‘Most Attractive Public Garden’ to the ‘Best Feast Stall’.

Since 2008 the MTA has been awarding attractions that offer the best experience to visitors. A set of criteria was established based on international quality schemes and was fine-tuned following a pilot study in a number of local attractions. The criteria were used during unannounced visits to participating attractions and the attraction obtaining the highest score was awarded the title of ‘Best Visitor Attraction’.

How to participate

This scheme is open to all those who own or operate a museum, heritage site or place of interest. Participation is free of charge. Please contact the Quality & HR Development unit for more details.
