Q - Refer to Page 47 Technical Specifications item, 1.03.1 / 103.2/ 1.03.3 – All sites requires to have the application for the provision of electrical supply and ADSL modem. Can you please advise if the one time connection fee for the electrical supply (€ 300.00) on each site shall be included in our offer or else the local council will be issuing the cheque accordingly.
A - Fee to be included in tenders bid.
Q - Refer to the BOQ Page 59 CCTV System Limits of Hlantun (Zurrieq/Safi). Item B01.00 Supply, Deliver, installation and commissioning of CCTV system and related equipment it is listed 3 in total, however on the CCTV Location Plan that was included in the tender it is shown 4 cameras in total to be installed. Can you please confirm

09.01
The HD Network Video recorder shall support recording of up to 10 cameras, records up to 10 MB/s of image data, able to record all camera outputs at their maximum resolution in real time in high quality H264 recording. The system shall have the facility of embedding the time and date of recording as a watermark for security and legal purposes. Equipment shall operate between 5 and 55 deg. C. and at a relative humidity of between 5% and 85%. This unit shall be located at the sites where the camera systems are installed.

In reply to a query we received from an interested party, please note the following:
The specifications in this tender relate to technical features which are present in equipment available from different manufacturers across the globe.
The technology required for this project is aimed to give maximum video coverage for the investment cost, and to minimise the connectivity costs for the day to day running of the systems.
Deviations from the specified specifications shall be considered as long as the system offered does not compromise the video coverage resolution and data transmission and recovery features requested.

A Once the stand is an island - 4 sides open, what is the grey gross line shown on the site plan on page 41 and 45 ?
This is the main walking way
B Can you please clarify what do you mean by a space 3 x 3 m to be kept clear for stand activities, located in the corner facing IMEX cafe' integrating the column. Area seems to have to be enclosed between two walls 3m x 2.10 m high each with 3 power points ?
Please explain if this area is to be a separate area from the stand totally enclosed, accessible from the outside perimeter of the stand and left empty except for the 3 power points. When there are no stand activities will the area remain empty ?
We are planning on stand activities which are not finalized as yet but we need those spaces to be kept free for it
The space will be used for sure.
The space has be to be accessible from the outside perimeter of the stand and the overall integration to the stand should make it look as part of it not like a wall separating it from the stand
C Can you send us a hall site plan indicating the location of the IMEX Cafe' please
Amendment re MTA/832/2012
All prospective tenderers are to note the following change being made to the TUR 2013 activity :
TUR 2013 will now be of 48 sqm and there is a requirement of 7 tables each with four chairs.
All other requirements remain the same.

To whom it may concern
Please note the following amendment which supersedes the relevant section in the above mentioned tender document :
Q - You are asking for a "Maintenance team" to be ON SITE and not ON CALL for all the 19 Fairs. Please understand that for stands having less than 40 sq. mtrs. , it does not make financial sense to have a maintenance team on site but this service must be given ON CALL.
A - It has been decided that for stands of less than 40 sqm the maintenance team would on call and able to respond in 2 hours.
For stands over 40 sqm they have to be on site.
Prospective bidders for this tender are to note the following amendments / clarifications :
1) "All furniture used on the stand must be new" – this will be changed to “furniture can be used but must be free of defects, scratches and other damages.
2) The EU electrician certification is not required to be presented with the bid, but the Authority may ask for it when the tender is being adjudicated. It is thus entirely up to the bidders whether to supply the certification or not with their bid.
