January to November 2006
During January to November 2006, total tourist expenditure was estimated at Lm408.3 million, a decrease of 1.6 per cent over the same period a year ago.
Per capita expenditure was estimated at Lm392.0, implying an increase of Lm12.5 when compared with January to November 2005.
Expenditure Survey
The Tourism Expenditure Survey estimates the levels of expenditure prior to departure and during stay in the main core markets - UK, Germany, Italy, France and the Netherlands. Expenditure during stay is broken down accommodation, food and drink, transport, recreation (cultural and other entertainment), shopping and other expenditure. Expenditure data is released every quarter and on a yearly basis.
