Market Profile Surveys
Market Profile Surveys provide information on the socio-demographic characteristics and motivational reasons of overseas visitors to Malta. This survey provides an insight of tourists' overall experience in Malta by analysing various variables including booking arrangements, purpose of visit, reason for choosing Malta, influential means, competiting destinations, activities engaged in, localities visited, accommodation used and whether the Malta visit lived up tourists' expectations.
A continuous survey is distributed to a random sample of tourists upon arrival. A quarterly analysis is conducted for our main tourism markets - UK, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria and Scandinavia.
