Hotel Worker of the Year
This STAR award is aimed specifically at exemplary workers within the hotel sector who excel both in the way they perform their duties and their general attitude towards work. The Hotel Worker of the Year award is a staff-driven award whereby hotel employees of any grade can nominate a fellow worker who they think deserves the award.
How to Participate
Applications for the Hotel Worker of the Year 2011 are now open. All the rules of participation are listed on the nomination form available below.
The Hotel Worker of the Year for 2010 was Robert Aquilina from the InterContinental Malta who received a certificate, an 18ct gold lapel-pin and €800 cash prize.
The runner-up was Fiona Camilleri from the Westin Dragonara Resort and the second runner-up was Josephine Cassar from The Hilton Malta; each received a certificate and a cash prize of €150. The 12 remaining finalists were also recognised on the night and each received a certificate.
