About the Directorate

VisitMalta Incentives & Meetings (VMIM) is responsible for promoting Malta as the destination of choice for meetings and incentives, luxury travel and destination weddings.

The VMIM Head Office team works closely with MTA’s international network, including dedicated personnel stationed in overseas offices. This integrated structure, and the seamless collaboration between local and international teams, plays a vital role in maximising reach and impact across key source markets through targeted strategic initiatives.

Strategic Marketing for High-Value Tourism

VMIM adopts a comprehensive marketing strategy to ensure strong visibility across all relevant channels. The department organises familiarisation trips to showcase Malta’s distinctive offerings to potential buyers, and actively participates in leading international workshops, exhibitions and events focused on the M.I.C.E. sector, luxury travel and destination weddings.
